LOVELAND, Colo. - On Friday, July 3, 2026, the Loveland Police Department's Criminal Impact Unit arrested 29-year-old Alexander Hawkeye Martinez on an arrest warrant following an investigation into multiple allegations of sexual assault involving two juveniles.
The investigation began after the victims came forward and disclosed the abuse. Martinez and the victims knew each other, and the alleged offenses occurred while Martinez served in a caregiving role.
Martinez was booked into the Larimer County Jail on the following charge(s):
CRS 18-3-405.3 (1)(2) Sexual Assault on a Child – Position of Trust, (F3), 2 Counts
CRS 18-3-405.3 (1)(2) (a) Sexual Assault on a Child – Position of Trust, (F3), 1 Count
CRS 18-1.3-1004(1)(e)(I) Aggravated Sex Offense, Sentence Enhancer, 2 Counts
A booking photo may be obtained through the Records Division of the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. Over the weekend, Magistrate James McDonald set bond at $200,000 cash only with pretrial restrictions.
“The courage displayed by these young victims cannot be overstated,” Lieutenant Heather Moore of the Criminal Investigations Division said. “Their willingness to speak up made this investigation possible. I want to recognize the dedication of our investigators and thank the District Attorney's Office for its continued partnership and support.”
Martinez, who previously worked as an instructor at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu Academy (329 E. 3rd Street, Loveland), also goes by the nickname "X.” Because of the nature of the investigation and Martinez’s previous role as an instructor and caregiver, investigators believe additional victims may exist.
